Tuscany Bernier is from Indiana where she lives with her husband and three cats. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and raised in the rural town of Ladoga, Indiana. She converted/reverted to Islam in June of 2012 CE/1433 AH.

Tuscany graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Islamic Studies from Mishkah University in 2017 and finished the one-year intensive from Tayseer Seminary in May 2018. She is finishing her bachelor's through Mishkah University currently. She is passionate about cultural diversity and women’s studies. Tuscany was previously an editorial fellow and staff writer for The Tempest.

Mrs. Bernier has previously spoke at the Women’s Mosque of America, Women in Leadership Institute at Purdue University, and has appeared on Huda TV: Women’s Issues. She has spoken at several mosques and youth groups across the United States.

She also owns a small online boutique called Courage.Redefined that mainly focuses on plus-size modestwear and international gifts.
